Mission/Giving Statement: The Kerr Foundation is established to support 501(c)(3) organizations, programs and institutions that provide new or enhanced opportunities for those within the granting areas, particularly the young.

Grantmaking Program Area Descriptions:
Arts & Culture: Organizations in the visual arts and performing arts areas, museums and libraries.
Education: Institutions of higher learning and pre-collegiate organizations including health science centers and medical research done by educational institutions.
Health: Institutions providing health care, doing medical research, or outreach organizations employing primarily professionals from the allied health area.
Human Services: Organizations providing services in diverse areas to the public, and specifically to the disadvantaged, people with special needs and the elderly.
Public Administration: Public affairs-related programs.
Type of Funding/Funding Restrictions: The Kerr Foundation funds bricks and mortar projects, equipment, programs having an objective and specified time span, and operational support. The Foundation's preference is given to Oklahoma's organizations and institutions but they recognize that organizations located outside the state and region can also have a beneficial impact on the economic, social and cultural growth and development of Oklahoma, therefore they will entertain grant requests from surrounding states, including New Mexico.
