Mission/Giving Statement: Kindle Project seeks to foster a nexus of creative ideas and cultivators to inspire and support possibilities for change.
Grantmaking Program Areas: Funding and other support specifically to people and organizations approaching their work in creative, innovative ways toward one or more of the following goals:
Transforming conflict
Inspiring ingenuity
Challenging outmoded systems and frameworks
Fostering generostiy among people
Educating outside of mainstream paradigms
Together with our collaborators, we hope to build a nexus for social, political and global transformation.
Funding Restrictions: Due to limited staff capacity, we are unable to respond to unsolicited grant requests. Grants are solicited and awarded by invitation only.
Application Instructions: The application process is structured with our grantee partners on a case-by-case basis.
Mission/Giving Statement: Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) funds organizations that employ young New Mexicans in projects that improve New Mexico's natural resources and provide community benefits of lasting value.
Type of Funding/Funding Restrictions: Organizations that are eligible to apply for YCC funding are: local units of government, state and federal agencies, federally recognized Native American Tribes, and non-profit organizations (those exempt from federal income tax as described in Section 501 (c) of the United States Internal Revenue Code).
Application Instructions: Refer to the yearly Request for Proposal posted on the website at the beginning of May.
Mission : Provide non-profits an opportunity to work closey with partners to design, execute and place a strategic advertising campaign in a variety of mediums. By working with Advocate, non-profits will have the opportunity to set, track and reach their marketing goals and objectives.
Grantmaking Program Areas: Provides free advertising services to non-profits. Each year, Advocate selects one non-profit organization that needs help. Doing this allows Advocate to effectively focus attention on develping a comprehensive marketing and advertising strategy that best meets the non-profit's goals and objectives.
Grantmaking Program Area Description: Each non-profit that is selected to participate in the program receives free creative services and free media placements from some of the largest media channels in New Mexico. But the non-profit gets more than just free advertising, it gets an advocate.
